Mrs. Herndon is an Associate with Clark Gaines Properties and cultivates the firm’s new client initiatives and specializes in assisting owners and users with acquisitions, dispositions and leasing projects. Mrs. Herndon’s primary focus includes acquiring new business and building strong long-lasting relationships with her clients by delivering unwavering customer satisfaction.
Prior to entering the commercial real estate industry with Clark Gaines Properties, Mrs. Herndon launched 252Talent in 2016, an executive search firm located in Houston, Texas. Here she specialized in the full range of executive search, staffing, and advising services for C-Level, Engineering, Legal, and Technology recruitment. Day-to-day functions included gaining clients and candidates with a variety of traditional and digital marketing strategies, recognizing talent for hidden job openings, and negotiating salaries and employment packages for 100K+ positions. As an entrepreneur, Mrs. Herndon understands business. She seeks first the interests of the owner, whether for hiring staff or acquiring real estate. Mrs. Herndon still enjoys giving career advice, job referrals, and offers resume assistance to friends and family.
Prior to opening 252Talent, Mrs. Herndon completed a Bachelors of Communications from the University of Phoenix, enlarged her family with three new children and worked part-time at Lake Labs LLC, a digital marketing agency she co-founded with her husband, Paul. The focus customer included non-profits, start-ups and small businesses. Her experience creating marketing strategies, initiating and advising social media campaigns, and video production offer a unique perspective to better market properties for new and existing clientele in the commercial real estate industry.
At 23 years old, Mrs. Herndon founded of Chess Executive search for 7 years prior to enlarging the family. Here, she placed almost entirely attorneys with law firms in Texas. This career laid the foundation for successful entrepreneurship, business development and retention, the importance of work-life balance, and a drive to succeed as a young, female entrepreneur and mother.
Mrs. Herndon and her husband have five children, ages 19, 14, 7, 5 and 4. She attends church at Bayou City Fellowship, Cypress Campus and serves on the Board of Advisors for In the Word Ministries, a prison ministry; and Entrusted Houston, a non-profit providing assistance to adoptive and foster care parents. Mrs. Herndon enjoys spending time with her large family, serving in the Kids Ministry, traveling, reading, coaching, the outdoors (when it’s under 90 degrees) and Kauai, in general.
